What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Is it safe to use my credit card?

Every credit card purchase you make at BuilderBooks.com is guaranteed to be safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your credit card as a result of shopping at BuilderBooks.com.

If you feel more comfortable, you can call 1-800-223-2665, from 8:30 am until 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time and place your credit card order over the phone.

What does "NAHB member price" mean?

Members of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) receive a 10% discount on all orders. You can join NAHB through your local homebuilders association. For more information on joining NAHB, call 1-800-368-5242, ext. 0.

What is your return policy?

Within 30 days of the receipt of your order, you may return any book in its original condition. We will issue a full refund for the price of the item. We can only refund shipping costs if the return is the result of our error.

To return a book, please write the reason for your return on the back of your packing slip. Enclose the slip in the carton, wrap the package securely, and send it to the address listed on the back of your packing slip:

For your protection, please use UPS or Insured Parcel Post for shipment.

How much do you charge for shipping in the US and Canada?

For orders in the US, standard delivery shipping charges are as follows:

   $1.00 for orders up to $7.00
   $5.00 for orders between $7.01 and $25.00
   $8.00 for orders between $25.01 and $75.00
   $13.00 for orders between $75.01 and $150.00
   $17.00 for orders between $150.01 and $250.00

What is the shipping charge for orders sent outside of the US and Canada?

For orders to be shipped outside of the US and Canada, add 20% of the total value of your order as a shipping charge.

Is rush service available?

Rush service is available on phone orders only. Call the BuilderBooks.com Bookstore at 1-800-223-2665, and your rush order will be shipped no later than next business day. For UPS Second Day Service, add $21.00 to standard shipping charge. For UPS One-Day Service, add $29.00 to standard shipping charge.
